Lake Agnes, Banff National Park, Canada Photo available for purchase at iStockphoto.com Lake Agnes is a beautiful alpine lake which is situated in the Lake Louise area. The only way to reach it is by hiking up to it. It is one of the most hiked trails in the Canadian Rockies because of its location and accessibility. It offers many stunning views especially from the Little Beehive and Big Beehive Lookouts. Lake Agnes Teahouse is a day hike which took me around 3 to 4 hours round trip. This is a heavily traveled trail especially during the summer months of July and August. I hiked it in the morning in order to avoid the crowds and was able to enjoy a nice quiet cup of tea at the Teahouse while soaking in the beautiful setting.
